A lottery syndicate is a group of players who buy lottery tickets together. Each syndicate member owns a portion of these collective tickets and receives a proportional share of any winnings.

Lottery websites create syndicates for each of the top lotteries and pre-purchase large quantities of lottery tickets for each draw.

There are different types of syndicates based on how the numbers are chosen and the number of lines the syndicate comprises.

In other words, we've made it easy for you—everything is already set up. All you have to do is choose a syndicate based on your preferences and select the number of shares you wish to purchase.

Here's an explanation of common syndicate terminology:

Lines—Lines are the different number combinations purchased for the syndicate. For example, a 100-line syndicate will have 100 unique number combinations (also known as tickets or blocks), giving syndicate members 100 chances to win the jackpot.

These lines are purchased by the syndicate for the upcoming draw.

Total Shares—Each syndicate is divided into equal shares, which are available for purchase. These shares, also known as stocks, determine the percentage of guild rewards you can win.

For example, in a guild with a total of 50 stocks, each stock is worth 2% of the guild's profits (calculated by dividing 100% by 50 equal shares).

The more stocks you buy, the higher your percentage of the reward.

Joining a lottery guild will give you improved odds of winning lottery prizes while costing you less money.

A guild allows you to play hundreds of different number combinations without having to buy multiple lottery tickets yourself.

As part of a guild, you have a chance to win multiple times in each draw and you'll be able to share the excitement of winning with your fellow lottery players.

Union numbers are predetermined and randomly assigned when a union is created. Once you join a union, you cannot change or choose your union numbers.

However, you can see the numbers in advance when choosing which union to join. When you purchase a multi-draw pack for unions, each subsequent draw will have different numbers, as they are assigned to each union and draw.

The lottery website guarantees that your union share and chances of winning remain unaffected, regardless of how many shares have already been sold.

If you win, you will be paid out according to your share ownership. Even if not all union shares have been sold, all union lines will still be eligible for the next draw.

Random Selection – Numbers are randomly selected for a fixed number of lines.

Systematic – A syndicate covering all possible unique combinations from a set of 7-14 numbers, chosen at random.

Guaranteed Number Match – Each syndicate line contains a variable number, covering the entire range of lottery guesses. This guarantees that the syndicate will match at least one of the drawn numbers. Other numbers are chosen at random.

Guaranteed Bonus Number Match – The syndicate lines contain every possible combination of bonus lottery numbers. This guarantees that the syndicate will match the bonus number(s) at least once – guaranteed! Other numbers are chosen at random.

When a lottery syndicate wins, the prizes are divided equally among all entries.

Your share of the syndicate's prizes will depend on the number of shares you purchased in the syndicate.

All winnings not tied to the top prize or secondary prizes will be paid to the winners shortly after they claim their prize from the official lottery operator.

If your syndicate wins the top prize, a member of our customer support team will contact you and guide you through the process of claiming your share of the prize.

Unions are currently available for multi-draw packages and personal entries; however, union subscriptions are likely to be available in the near future.

Currently, you cannot create your own syndicates, but you can choose to join any of the existing ones.

Syndicate Multi-Draw Packs allow you to purchase collective shares for future draws in advance, saving you up to 25% on the normal cost of participation.

When purchasing a Syndicate Multi-Draw Pack, select your preferred lottery syndicate, specify the number of shares you wish to purchase, and the number of draws you want to participate in.

You will automatically join a syndicate of the same lottery for subsequent draws until your pack is depleted.

We aim to open matching guilds for every draw; however, we occasionally open special guilds for draws with higher-than-usual jackpots. If there is no matching guild in a future draw, we will aim to match you with the closest alternative. Note that this also applies to guilds within bundles. There are two possible scenarios:

Scenario 1: In the next draw, there is no matching guild. We will match you with the closest matching guild, taking into account the share price, number of lines, and guild type. The share price may differ by up to 25% from the original cost (see example below).

Scenario 2: There is no matching guild in the next draw (according to the criteria outlined in Scenario 1). In this case, we will cancel your bundle and refund the value of the remaining draws.

Example:

You buy a multi-draw pack for a 200-line random pick guild for US Powerball:

In a subsequent draw, this guild is replaced by the following:

First, we look at guilds that fall within the 25% price range ($11.50 - $17.50). This eliminates guild #1.

Second, we look at the number of lines. Number 2 is closer than number 3.

Therefore, a share will be allocated to the second guild (matching all PB 55).

Yes, as long as the unions are in the same lottery, you can buy different shares from all the available unions.

You don't need to be a lottery expert to play the lottery online. All lottery ticket forms are formatted to match the game's rules. To play, simply fill out the form by selecting the available numbers. When you click "Play," we'll purchase official lottery tickets for you!

When purchasing lottery tickets, you can manually select your numbers, use a random number generator (Quick Pick), or choose to use pre-selected numbers.

Although there are specific lotteries where you can purchase a single line, we generally require a minimum purchase of 2-6 lines to offer a reasonable price for our wide range of services.

If you do not complete the number selection for the desired number of lines, the system will automatically fill in the missing numbers using a quick random selection. Please note that packages include one personal line as part of the comprehensive package.

The Mega Millions Megaplier feature allows players to increase their non-major prizes by multiplying the prize amount by 2, 3, 4, or 5 times, depending on the Megaplier number selected for the draw.

For example, the second prize for matching 5 numbers on a Megaplier ticket ($1,000,000) will be multiplied by 5 (for a total prize of $5,000,000) if the Megaplier number selected for that draw is 5.

To purchase a ticket with the Megaplier feature:

1. Select the Mega Millions lottery.

2. Enter your lucky numbers on the play form.

3. Select the Megaplier checkbox at the bottom of the form (the additional cost will be automatically reflected in the total cost).

4. Click the "Play" button to proceed to checkout.

Megaplier number results can be viewed alongside regular winning numbers on the Mega Millions results page.

The bonus number allows the lottery to add additional secondary prize categories, giving players more chances to win. Players don't get to choose which bonus number they want to play. Bonus numbers are drawn last from the same drum as the main numbers.

How do bonus numbers work?

Let's say the jackpot numbers are 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, and the bonus ball is 6. The player or players who correctly match all five numbers will win the jackpot. However, if a player chooses 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6, they will have matched four out of the five main numbers, plus the bonus ball, and will qualify for a 4+1 bonus, which is worth more than just matching four out of five numbers.

When you check the lottery results on the website, the bonus number will appear in blue at the top of the screen and as an X+1 in the prize draw.

In lotteries, a bonus number is a number that a player must choose in addition to the main numbers.

Lotteries currently offer one or two bonus numbers. The bonus number comes from a separate guessing range, appears on the ticket in a separate matrix, and is drawn from a separate cylinder.

Lotteries with bonus numbers require the player to match all the main numbers plus the bonus number to win the jackpot.

Lotteries include bonus numbers to make the gameplay more exciting and to offer more prize categories and jackpots.

US Powerball was the first lottery to use a bonus number; they called it Powerball, from which the lottery got its current name. Even today, a bonus number may also be referred to as Powerball.

When looking at prize categories, bonus numbers will be indicated by "PB." For example, the first prize in the EuroMillions jackpot is 5 + 2 PB.

Lottery results on the website will list the bonus number in red.

The optional Power Play feature allows players to increase their non-Jump Prizes by 2-10 times, depending on the Power Play number drawn.

With Power Play included on a player's ticket, the second prize of $1 million is doubled to $2 million. Other non-Jump Prizes are multiplied by the Power Play number. The 10x multiplier is only activated when the advertised annual prize payout is $150 million or less.

To purchase a ticket with Power Play:

1. Select the U.S. Powerball Lottery;

2. Enter your lucky numbers on the play form;

3. Select the Power Play checkbox at the bottom of the form (the additional cost will be automatically reflected in the total ticket price);

4. Click the "Play" button to proceed to checkout.

The selected Power Play number can be viewed in each drawing along with the regular winning numbers on the Powerball results page.

Please note: Power Play is applied to all lines on the ticket, multiplying players' potential winnings and affecting the ticket price accordingly.

The systematic model allows you to increase your chances of winning by entering the draw with all possible combinations of your lucky numbers.

You are required to fill in a single line with a specific number of numbers higher than the minimum required for each line, from which all possible combinations are generated.

On theLotter, you can choose 6-14 lucky numbers, depending on the availability of this play option in the lottery you select. Lotteries that offer systematic models will have a "Systematic" tab on the play page. The total number of lines generated will be displayed in the Systematic tab.

For example, in EuroMillions, you are invited to choose 6-10 numbers for your systematic model. You will first need to select the type of systematic model (6 numbers, 7 numbers, 8 numbers, 9 numbers, or 10 numbers) you wish to play. If you choose 6 numbers, a total of 6 lines of your chosen numbers will be generated in the numbered grid. If you choose 10 numbers, a total of 252 lines will be generated. Each line consists of a different set of your lucky numbers.

By purchasing a structured model, you increase your chances of winning a prize. For example, if you guess three out of six winning numbers, the winning combination will appear multiple times in the lines generated by the structured model, multiplying the payout.
